Hot dip galvanizing laboratory
The Quality and Control Laboratory of the Hot Dip Galvanizing Plant checks the finished galvanized products, as well as the activity of the chemical solutions in the tanks.
The testing of finished galvanized products involves measuring the thickness of the galvanizing and visual inspection, and is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 1461 international standard.
As regards the activity of the chemical solutions, the stability of which is necessary to achieve consistent galvanizing quality, parameters such as pH and conductivity are monitored for all tanks, as well as the % Baumé concentration for the flux tank.

ZINCOMETAL's Lighting & Testing Laboratory is one of the most advanced photometric laboratories in Greece. It is an independent laboratory dedicated to lighting technology.
It accurately evaluates new materials and components, conducts periodic tests for product performance, and performs photometric measurements and certifications of luminaires. Its objective is to support production and optimise its results, while also meeting the most demanding customer requirements.
The Lighting Testing & Laboratory also functions as a research and development platform for innovative lighting solutions.
